Since the above is undoubtedly true I will let others do the talking. These are real comments from real people. Two years ago I requested Shyamasundara Prabhu to make a Vedic horoscope for me - and I was surprised and delighted by his insightful work, which superseded my boldest expectations.
In my humble opinion a horoscope can be extremely helpful in understanding how our vehicle, that is body and mind, works. What influences are there? What talents are there? What weak points? What types of likelihood? etc.
A horoscope might be as useful as studying the instruction manuals of a car. Of course, by Krsna's mercy the new car can drive in unexpected and unforeseeable ways, but when one plans a route, one is happy when one knows what the car can do and what it cannot do.
I found out that in Shyamasundara's very sensitive reading of the astrological chart he leaves place and room for the "transcendental factor of Lord Krsna's mercy" and therefore - at least for me - it was very useful.

The wide spectrum of readings amongst jyotish practitioners will vary from cosmetic comic strip predictions to pin point accuracies of the past and future. He was one of the very few astrologers who had both a truly compassionate spiritual center and practice as well as extraordinary educational references. If I was to write a letter of recommendation for any outstanding employee who I worked with in an everyday working environment, it would have been in a way much easier than to say a few words on Shyamasundara Dasa's work. As a person that practices spiritual life, who decided to walk on the path towards the God, Krsna, I learned who I am, where am I, and what is my role in this world. I have to say that the advice provided by his readings have saved me from getting involved in a number of situations which would have either cost me much emotionally and financially, or would have been total disasters.
At this time, I have just had my horoscope done by Shyamasundara Das, namely my Natal Chart reading, Predictive and Spiritual combined, plus a detailed Bhukti (update) reading. Shyamasundara provided me with a printed copy of the horoscope itself. This was accompanied by an MP3 file, that contained a recording of a 4 hour-long reading.
Shyamasundara’s readings, give me deep insight into my own self, enabling me to understand and to come to terms with who I am on the physical, psychological and spiritual levels. Sure, here is my account of my experience: My wife and I have been married for almost 2 years and after the first 3 months, things have been horrible.
My wife did not get along with my parents or siblings at all, and, if anything, would work to create problems with them! She would constantly create issues with them, swear at them, and behave completely like a spoiled teenager!!
Fortunately, I had consulted Shyamasundara Dasa, and through his recommended prayers, we have all finally found peace! It took about a month after the prayers were completed for things to improve, but now my wife gets along with everyone in my family once more. She has even apologized to everyone in my family for her behaviour! Now she is busy buying presents for everyone to show them that she truly means them no harm. Also, she wants my parents to move in with us now, and also wishes to help my sister pay for her wedding! This is in stark contrast to the behaviour of my wife before the prayers!

After seeing this text I inquired if Bhakta Martin was indeed cured and received this reply from the person he does email through:
"After long time in diseased condition his body is still weak, but he says that the disease is practically gone and he doesn't need to take any chemical medicine. He has performed two homas. Actually after some time he stopped chanting those [prescribed] mantras, but after reading your story [quoted above] about an Indian man living in Canada - his wife did not get along with his parents, Martin started to continue."
This last comment is very interesting and important. It shows that the remedies work if followed consistently with devotion otherwise no or only partial result accrue. It also suggests that a repeat of the remedy can speed up results.

When I first contacted you for a reading I was going through a very hellish time in my life. I was scared, confused and didn't really know which way to turn for help. Certainly some very strange things were happening and causing me a great deal of distress.
The remedial measure that you prescribed for me proved immediately effective and gave me something to focus on. Shyamasundara prabhu is accurate in his predictions. Here are a few examples that I witnessed myself:
I asked him a prasna regarding whether or not I should ask my father to buy me an apartment in Paris, as my father had offered me before on numerous occasions. I was convinced that my father would say ‘yes.’ Therefore I asked the prasna with a view to know whether or not this would be a good financial investment, all the while taking it for granted that my father would say ‘yes’ if I asked him. Shyamasundara prabhu told me that I should not ask my father because if I did he would surely say ‘no.’ Not believing Shyamasundara, I asked my father nonetheless, and to my amazement he said ‘no.’
Regarding prasnas about possible marriage partners, I had several impressive experiences: One lady had showed interest in me for several months. I was never very much attracted to her, although I knew her to be a nice lady. I tried to associate with her for a few days, but I never really enjoyed being with her. Finally, I asked Shyamasundara prabhu the prashna, “Should I marry so-and-so,” and he replied in a manner which showed that he had understood the situation perfectly, although he knew absolutely nothing about the girl, not even her birth chart. He said, “She is a nice girl, she likes you, but you simply have no affection for her; it would be disastrous to marry her.”
Another time, I asked him if I should marry another lady who I had just met. Not knowing anything about her, he replied, “A person in her family will strongly object.” Sure enough, her father vehemently opposed our union.
Another time, he predicted that if I married a certain girl, I would constantly argue with her. Again, he was correct because she and I were already arguing in our preliminary exchange of letters.
Once, a certain lady from Eastern Europe showed interest in me. She seemed a bit emotionally imbalanced, however, but I figured it was worth asking Shyamasundara prabhu a prashna about her. Again, without knowing anything about her, he replied, “There is something definitely not right with this girl; stay away from her.”
Another time, I asked him if I should pursue marriage with a lady who had showed interest in me previously, but whom I had ignored because of the advice of another astrologer-friend of mine. I maintained attraction to her, and so I asked Shyamasundara about her. He replied, “This is a good match, but there is a major obstacle.” Sure enough, he could see, through his astrology, that this lady was unfortunately already compromised with another man at the time I asked the prashna. Thus Shyamasundara picked up the ‘major obstacle,’ namely the fact that she was already engaged with someone else, just from his reading.
Another time, I asked him a prasna about another girl, and he replied that there would be tremendous chemistry between the two of us, but that some major tension was there as well. Accurately enough, when I met this lady, a very strong physical attraction was present, and yet the mood between us was extremely tense.
Unfortunately, at the time I write this my marriage situation is not yet solved. My understanding, however, is that a good astrologer is not a miracle-worker- he does not change your karma. But he helps see clearly what your karma is, and what the reactions of a certain action would be, such as in the case of possible marriage union with one lady or another.
On the financial side, once a friend of mine from South Africa recommended that I invest in a certain South Africa petrochemical company. I asked Shyamasundara if I should buy stocks from that company. He replied, “Yes.” It has been 9 months since I purchased those stocks, and they have grown by 16 thousand dollars during that short time.

Dear Shyamasundara Prabhu,
I am feeling wonderful at present. Life has significantly changed for better after doing the remedial measures suggested by you. Within first week my drug dose for epilepsy reduced to almost half. Now, in the fourth week I have started to reduce the doses further and I still feel better. Before doing the remedial measure even a small miss in dose would trigger an epilepsy attack. I was taking a dose of 1000 mg of Levipil and 200 mg of Epilex Chrono each day. Now I am trying on 500 mg a day and still feel comfortable . Earlier when i used to miss medicines the attack would come once in a month. As I got used to the medicine even leaving the medicine or taking smaller dose for a single day would trigger at attack. I used to carry the medicine always with me. As soon as I sense an attack I would take couple of pills. This would control the attack. I have been living like this for last six years. But, now I am confidant and hardly carry medicines with me. Further the state of my mind is significantly better now. This has helped me in both my material as well as spiritual progress. I would continue to do the remedial measures suggested by you.

Out of my helpful spirit, but poor discretion, I became implicated in two criminal cases and was realistically faced with the combined jail time of over 4 years. First, I ordered a prashna to help choose the right lawyer. The result was to steer me far away from the lawyer that most emotionally appealed to me and to choose one that I was in the process of meeting. In 1996 I had a chart done by Shyamasundara Dasa and recently getting ready to move house I found the tapes, took me a while to find an old tape player but finally did from husband’s father. Listening to the tapes in 2019 was so interesting and so spot on. The reading was quite accurate and now helpful in this part of my life. I am really thankful as the information is getting me through a rather chaotic end to Rahu.
